White Jewelry Box?
My wife wants a jewelry box for xmas and being a woodworker I would love to build
her one but I've already got two other projects going so there is just no
way I can do a good job between now and xmas. I lurk here quite often and I
know some of you guys build stuff for sale so...I'm looking for a box approx
(l/w/h); 9 x 6 x 4
simple design (shaker style?) clean lines, good joinery (I always appreciate
good joinery)..probably made out of cherry...natural finish...

NO, I'm not laughing at you or your post, just the thought it invoked of how
one could probably count, on one hand, the number of woodworkers on this
list that aren't in the same predicament you are at this time of year.
-I've got one going in walnut and tulip poplar - should be ready
'bout August or so 8.
-Tell you what, I have two large entertainment centers I need to finished by
Christmas for gifts and I haven't started them yet. Maybe we can work a
trade.
Oh, did I mention the seven jewelry boxes I also need to make?
Hope you work your way out of the predicament. I'll probably handle mine
with IOU's
