Shiseido Skin Care / Neutrogena
has anyone tried the Shiseido Pureness Skin Care system ??
I've just bought it, and I hope it'll clear my skin soon.
I've also used neutrogena, but I didn't think it helped.....anyone had any
succes with neutrogena.
-I have the Shiseido Pureness blemish clearing gel. It's just a .5%
gel. It didn't do anything to treat the blemishes. This product is not
worth the money.
On the other hand, I did like the Shiseido Ultimate Sun Block with SPF
50. Very liquidy, non-greasy, and fast absorbing.
If the Neutrogena doesn't work for you, then by all means don't use
it. I think some of their products tend to be drying. Though, I do
like their Fresh Foaming cleanser.
-Neutrogena is alkaline (made with glycerine and lye vs. fat and lye
(soaps) - but still w lye.) However the pH of skin is abt. 5.5 (acidic). For
skin that is prone to breakouts (and probably everyone's else's skin as
well), akaline cleansers can cause irritation. Suggest you
use cleansers that have acidic pH, e.g. in the 5.5 neighborhood.
