Tribal Body Jewelry ?

hey there, i guess i've been creeping in the shadows, posting random questions
and delurks here and there. but anyways, down to my question at hand....im
searching for a good piercer in mass because i was not happy with my last
piercer --i told you all about that in a past thread =(-- anyways, boston im
assuming, would be the ideal place due to the fact that i will be there
permanently after august, and have caught this so-called "piercing fever"! i
know of the jewelry gallery and dont want to go there --discussions with
sarahmonster =)-- but what about rites of passage? ive heard good stuff about
them, anyone have any first hand experiences? or how about tribal ways? i think
thats what its called, its on newbury street i think. anyone have any
suggestions? i desperatly want to get my septum done, been drooling about it
for months, but as it will be my first facial piercing, i want it to be perfect
--ive seen too many crooked rings that im scared-- so im searching for the
perfect piercer. well, if anyone has any experience with any piercers anywhere
in mass --yeah or nay-- that they'd like to share, please please post or email!

You know that I think quite highly of Rite of Passage.
As far as Tribal Ways goes, I've never been there myself (even tho I used to
live a block away from it!) but the review in the FAQ doesn't seem very
promising (which is why I never bothered to go there). In fact, judging from
the review alone, I'd say its probably the last place you want to go to. I
also called there once looking for a specific piece of jewelry, and was treated
poorly by whoever answered the phone. Perhaps they've changed since that
review was written, and I just happened to catch that person on a bad day or
whatever, but I'd say ROP is yr only 100% positive sure bet in Boston. The
only other shop I know of is run out of SUPER SOCKS in Kenmore Sq., of all
places, and I know you know better than to trust ANY place that sells socks and
bargain Boston tshirts to pierce yr septum (one of my past roommates wasn't-
she had her navel pierced there, and the jewelry they used looked a little-
well . . . not appropriate? Looked like a gold hoop earring to me). Anyhoo,
good luck where ever you choose, and I hope to bump into you in ROP some day!
