Need the top CRM software

Just got my hands on a Pioneer DVR-310s and have it all working at present.
One question that I have is, when I try to record off the stb (Digitec
5000i), I get a message saying that it is not allowed to be recorded
(copyright protected), however I can still record the fta stuff off the
antenna input. Can anyone tell me why this is happening and how I can get
around this. I have also heard about the top CRM software that might be able to
fix this, does anyone know about this and where I can get my hands on it.

Thanks in advance
How is the DG-TEC 5000i connected to the DVR-310? Via composite? Via S-Video?

Thatıs quite odd because my Panasonic E-50 allows recording off SD-STB's
such as the Thomson, Panasonic and UEC (ive tried with all 3) and not had a
problem, and also works well off Foxtel digital. Try another STB.
Well certain DVD players (ESS4318 series specifically) can easily be modded
software/firmware wise to remove this, and presumably DVD recorders can be
modded in a similar fashion.
I suppose another solution may be something that re-builds the signal (by
stripping the VBI off and building a new VBI) but I think these "video
stabilisers" as they may be known as aren't that crash hot if you want, say,
svideo or component quality recording (as I think they are only good for
composite, perhaps someone else can comment here)?
