Tiffanys Man Jewelry

Has anyone here shopped at the Tiffany's on Michigan Avenue in Chicago?
They are so snooty there! My husband and I went in there to spend A
LOT of money and they wouldn't even give us the time of day! We went to
the Oakbrook store instead and they were super nice to me. I was wearing jeans and a
university sweatshirt and they didn't look down on me at all. The sales
lady even had me trying on $100K rings 'just for fun.' She said that
everyone should get to wear a huge rock every once in a while! Anywho,
we've gone back to that store for all of our purchases since and they've
made plenty off of us.

Any comments???
My daughters have the heart tag braelets and well as the heart pendant
necklaces. The quality is excellent for the price. They also have
more expensive gold necklaces and bracelets but get far more use from
the silver ones from Tiffanys

My husband shops there a lot and hasn't complained. But I'll
bet that when a man goes in by himself and starts peering at jewelry
display cases the SAs snap to attention. On the other hand, I've gone in
there solo and been pretty thoroughly ignored. Then there was the time I
went to Tiffany's to get engraved wedding invitations and was
completely ignored by the sales associates (yet followed assiduously by
the store detectives) until finally the department manager asked me
whether I needed any help. When I mentioned that I was looking for
wedding invitations, they fell all over me, loading me up with little
turquoise pamphlets on "How to Buy a Pearl" and "How to Buy a
Diamond" that I guess I was supposed to leave around for my fiance
to find. Also pamphlets on their china and silver. I was thoroughly
turned off by the experience and went right out.
