T-Mobile is closing Jacksonville call center
Hmm. 9 months notice on the closing of one of 12 call centers, opening
another elsewhere, and offering transfers. Doesn't sound like a big deal,
although I have to wonder why they are doing it. They mention older systems
or something, although they are building a whole new center in TX.
I live and work in Jacksonville Beach.
Many times when I call a toll-free number, I ask the person on the other end
what part of the country they're in.
I've called T-Mobile's toll-free number quite a few times, and never (as far as
I know) got a local, Jacksonville, rep. And, with T-Mobile, I've always received
"best in class" service. As long as the total number of reps isn't reduced (see
Sprint PCS) I'm not going to worry about getting good service.

No, they rebuilt it, changed the menu, and it just isn't the same as the old
days. Although, I hear they have the copper bar, still.
