Headaches caused by stress and depression ?
I suffer very badly from stress and depression caused by constantly being
broke from never being able to get a job or make my own business financially
well off.
In the past couple of weeks my depression has got so bad that I have been
suffering from bad migraines or bad headaches in general (mostly tension
headaches). In the past two years I have had 3 fits during bad migraines
and was on epilym In case it was epilepsy. I was happy to discover it
wasn't epilepsy which took a massive pressure and worry of my shoulders.
But it still means that I have migraines every so often. I am now on 200mg
of beta blockers a day which I have been told will stop my migraines for
good soon.
Do any of you suffer headaches like this during your stress and depression
and if so can you give me some good advice for curing my depression. Such
as advice books and courses and also any info about massaging, meditation
and stuff like that. And also any website addresses related to curing
stress and depression.
I really hope someone can help me get rid of my stress and depression for
good because it is ruining my life at the moment.
Just a thought. Do you clench your jaw and grind your teeth? Do you grind your
teeth at night?
My dentist was after me for years to get a retainer so I would stop grinding my
teeth. When I finally broke down and got one, almost the first thing I found
(after about 10 days wearing it) was that my chronic headaches stopped. I had
been waking up for years with headaches, and it turned out they were caused by
excessive jaw clenching and tooth grinding.
I will bare that in mind and look out in future to
see if I do it.
I went for a nice walk to the beach and round the cliff path in the warm sun
today which made me feel a lot better for awhile so I need to do it more.
