Small Business Edition of CRM integrates with the fax
I have an question when sending fax in CRM.CRM Server does not have a
"built-in" fax server. Instead, Small Business Edition of CRM integrates
with the fax server that comes with Windows .But When I have connected a
telephone line in the CRM Server. However, it is required to dial a "8" before any
telephone number can go outside. So what is the best way to config the
Server or the CRM in order to send the Fax successfully. Thank you.
I assume that's what you're using. You can set dial out prefix via SBS
Server Management console->Fax->Configure Phone and Modem Options.
There are two options to use fax integration with MS CRM
1. Default Windows fax services
2. third party fax solutions
Can you be a bit more specific what's "not working" and give some examples
the number entered/dialled? We have prefix defined and working on SBS just
fine so I'm not sure what's wrong in your case.
