Silver Jewelry Crystal

Anyway...shoes? Jewelry? I have black pumps but they have small gold accents.
Will that look weird with this grey? And should I wear silver jewelry? I
tried pearls with this and they were ok but I don't trust my judgement. I was
thinking that they used to make faux pearls that were black, or some other dark
shimmery color...are those still around and would they look better? My
instincts are telling me silver jewelry would look better. Can I mix silver
with pearls? I am wearing this to a dressy party or otherwise I'd be more
daring on my own. Could someone help??

I'd skip necklaces completely with the ornamentation and do a dramatic earring
in jet, pewter, silver, crystal, or grey pearls. I love the new chandelier
earrings they're showing everywhere. Bracelets would also be pretty. I like to
wear a single ruby/garnet bracelet with my crystal bracelets in the above
mentioned shades. And yes, you can do silver or faux black pearls--they're
still showing those and pearls are a classic. I mix silver and pearls of all
colors on occasion--just eye the mix and make sure you've got texture and one
dominant piece so it doesn't look cluttered. When accessorizing and in doubt I
always follow Coco Chanel's rule: Get dressed and then take one accessory off.

As for shoes, I'd do a black sandal for the party--you could even do a
silver/pewter snakeskin with this outfit for more texture. Wear boots with it
later for even more flexibility--same emphasis on texture. Just some ideas
