Shiseido Skin Care vs. Origins
I ran out of my much-beloved Origins skin cream last night and am
wondering if now is the time for me to try Shiseido (my apologies if the
spelling is incorrect). I have normal-to-dry skin and am wondering what
others' experiences have been with this line.
I know the product won't smell as good-- that's one of the main reasons
why I love the Origins line.
-I use Shiseido skincare - the Benefiance line - and I love it. One of the
reasons I like it is the smell so perhaps you will too!
-I would suggest staying with the Origins line since you love it. Origins
has the Lauder Corporation strength and also is widely available by
catalogue. Shiseido is more expensive, may be better products but most of
us will never know in that the sales staff is generally nonexistent and/or
poorly trained in less you are in the Orient.
-I just couldn't help but note that my local Shiseido counter is
staffed by a very good group of S/As, especially Jenny who has
taken care of my cosmetics needs for years.
As to the relative merits of the Origins and Shiseido skin care
products: both Shiseido skin care lines were selected by the
editors at Allure and the best of the best. I'm not sure what
this really means but Shiseido does little or no advertising in
Allure so ....
-I like both Shiseido and Origins but for cleansing my face I prefer Shiseido,
for my
body parts, I prefer Origins. I also have a great SA at the Shisedo counter at
Nordstrom's. Pretty knowledgeable and has never steered me wrong, but since I
have never been to the Orient, I cannot compare.
-If I couldn't find Pola, I would definitely choose
Shiseido over all other lines. The Japanese lines
are just "plain good".
I just received the Happi Magazine International
