Self Credit Repair, easy?
I have a bad credit rating and cannot obtain bank account, credit etc
etc.
There are credit repair agencys that offer to repair my credit rating.
I wish to do this my self.
have wrote asking for my credit files form the 2 main credit refence
agencys,expirian,and eqifax.
when i recieve my credit file.
what do l have to do to get the credit agency to clear my file

When you get the docs see if they are correct. If they are wrong the
agency must change them.
If they are correct then be VERY careful before handing money to a
credit repair agency as there may be nothing that can be done, and some
will take fees for ATTEMPTING to clear your record. Make sure you
understand what you are paying for, be very careful not to lie on any
documents.
Otherwise what you need to do, (when seeking credit) is be armed with a
reason that any lendor will accept as to why your previous record
doesn't matter any more.
Eg They all date from days of no money, and now you earn a good crust,
and all the outstanding debts have been settled.
However ask yourself why you want credit? It is convenient, but not
crucial. Buy goods out of saved money, ditto holidays, ditto cars and
the only time that credit is essential is for buying houses, and here,
armed with a decent deposit and a reason for accepting that the past is
past, getting a mortgage is not impossible.
