Secured credit card - Credit check online ?
when you apply for a secured credit card (With a deposit
equal to the limit on the card), is a credit check still required? If
so, why? Is it possible to be turned down for a secured card?
Try doing a bit of research for a friend of mine, he's buying stuff
online all the time and I'm tired of putting it on my credit card for
him.
-Scotiabank used to have a "Value VISA" where it wasn't really a credit
card at all, just a debit card with a VISA logo (so don't lose it,
because it can withdraw money from your bank account with no PIN
number). I'm not sure if they still offer it
