Among the evidence collected by the DPD were
the following items which are described as
per DPD evidence lists. Comments in [] are
mine:
1 Pass dated 9-58 in name Sgt Oswald Zebra
Co. open mess [found at Paine's] [the
date puts it at around the time Lee was in
transit to the South China Sea]
1 pedomodeter [found at Paine's]
1 newspaper clippings (Times-Picayune, New
Orleans, re: Oswald's fine in New Orleans for
Disturbing Peace. Sent to Oswald, 2703
Mercades, Ft Worth from rm. 329, 799
Broadway, New York City. [I traced this
address. It was the HQ of the FPCC]. [item
found at rooming house]
1 letter from Arthur Young [2nd husband of
Michael Paine's mother] to Marina Oswald, New
Orleans, postmarked Taoli, Penn. (two pages
and envelope), 8-25-6? [found at Paine's]
1 Letter, (envelope) from Connally to Oswald
in foreign language [the name Connally is
underlined. This was found at Paine's]
1 electronic device (unknown nature). Brown
plastic case - broken [found at rooming
house - has this "unknown" device ever been
identified?]
1 envelope, brown manila, from Minsk, Russia
to Ruth Paine, Irving, Texas, postmarked
Irving 10-7-63. [found at Paine's]
-The Army and the Marine Corps in 1958 used "Zulu"....Zebra was used in
WWII
It however may have been a "transit" company used for "detail's" by
members awaiting transport back to the states. The "Zebra Co" would
indicate that this was not a TOE
