KO-1 and a 120 volt Camper Roof A/C Repo ?

KO-1 and a 120 volt Camper Roof A/C Repo ?
My brother in law bought a Repo 28 foot camper trailor and was only about 2 years old and got it for $8,200.00 when the book valve
at 2 years old was about $17,000.00. It had a 12K BTU roof unit on it and the deal was that it had a bad compressor on it and it was
still under warrenty but the guy sold it as is to keep from having to warrent the compressor and a few small items that need to be
done. He bought it and brought it home and call me to warrent the compressor for him. I went over there and found it to run for
about 5 seconds and cut out on high amps. The Hard start that was taken off it and they had put a KO-1 [ big ass hard start kit on
it ]. My brain was not working and started tring to figure it out why this thing would only run 5 seconds and then cut out. Finally
I had a brain fart and got to thinking what the hell was a KO-1 doing on a 120 volt compressor and the KO-1 had a 220 volt Relay on
it and would never cut out until the volts come up over 200 volt to cut it out. I took it off and put a SPP-5 on it and it run like
a charm.

What is this world coming to when a big ass trailor sales company has turkeys like this working on their stuff to do warrenty work
for them and costing them money big time by not getting it right and took big money off the price of the trailor for a very small
screw up by some turkey. I sure hope this is not the way things are going to be in the future with Turkeys taking jobs at businesses
or Home Depot installers , too.
But I bet he knows where his pump is at...and I dont mean his JB..Hey it must have been DiptheriaDave dat done dis! Better fumigate it...Well, those "Turkeys" got you B.I.L. a good deal. Gobble, gobble.
Maybe he will let you borrow it sometime.
I call the Trailor House company and explained what i founded after the deal has been cut but they said they would tell the a/c man
what the mistake was but told me it was not a problem because they could not get a good man for $8.00 a hour like they have. They
maybe sell 1,000 's of trailors a year and a $8.00 a hour man is calling shots on these units being servicedSpeaking of Big ass, There is a company called "big ass fans"
and there HUGE!
