Frugal (low rate) credit cards?
my wife and I paid off all our consumer
debt this past year and are now in the process of tossing most of our
credit cards-- we had a combined limit of probably $35,000 between us
when we got married. We plan to keep one or two cards and avoid carrying
a balance-- but just in case, does anyone have a list of the low rate
cards out there? I know there are some that are close to the prime;
anything below 10% would be a candidate for us. Suggestions?
-Ken & Daria Dolan, in the book _Straight Talk on Money_ (1993),
say that the Bankcard Holders of America [(800)553-8025] have a list of
low-interest-rate credit cards for a cost of $4.
