Proactiv skincare,is it any good?
i was wondering is that proactiv skin care stuff any good my cousin claims it has
done wonders for her and my skin has been slightly broken out lately so i
thought i would try it but then before i clicked the "buy" button i thought i
would turn to agf and ask for some reviews on the product
-I have also heard from many friends that really had good results with
Proactiv. If it doesn't set you back too much it may be worth a try.
However, I've had chronic, re-occuring acne from age 15 to 23 (not
terrible acne, just acne that NEVER seemed to clear up!), and I had to
go through two courses of Accutane for any relief. Now I just get the
one occassional pimple like everyone else....
I guess what I mean is, if Proactive doesn't work for you, a visit to
the dermatologist might be in order! You may have heard from others,
or know already that continual harsh cleansing of the skin can make
acne worse, so if you don't have a routine that helps you, a doctor is
a smart choice.
-Proactiv worked for me - or i should say it seriously reduced my acne,
although it did not clear me up totally. However, i found it to be
prohibitedly expensive. I find that i can get the same results using
Cetaphil cleanser and a salytic acid gel every morning.
