If you have paid your debt off then you need to write to the credit ref
agencys (experian is one of them) and get your history for £1.
When they send it to you check out any defaults etc lodged and if you have
paid the debt off im sure you can then tell them to take it off or put a
note on it.
-Step one is to get yourself on the register ASAP. You'll never get a credit
agency to acknowledge your existence without this, let alone give you a
decent rating.
