WEDDING BANDS/RINGS, 14K, 18K & PLATINUM, DIAMOND INFO?
I am getting married in May and looking for a wedding band for myself. My
fiance found a ring she liked already, it's a ring guard type. I would
like something simple and fairly inexpensive since I am still a student.
Any ideas?
Also, I think your idea is a good one about the online catalogue. Just
make it obvious in print (and TV?) ads that you have this catalogue.
I would go with a diamond solitaire and suggest that she can get something
fancier later (when you have $$). I know I couldn't afford much in college
either.
My ring is a simple thin white gold band. It cost $65+tax. The store
sold by weight, so the wider a band you want and the bigger your
finger, the more the ring costs. They had a few choices on the
cross-section (flat or rounded) of the rings. You should be able to
find a jewelry store that sells like this.
My ring is quite narrow, because I'll be wearing two identical rings
(engagement and wedding). The two together are slightly wider than a
common width "man's band", so for one ring you'll probably be looking
about $100+tax.
