Tax refund sharks ? Payday Loan Centers problem ?
Already the sharks are lining up--offering loans of $3-$600 in advance of
pending refunds filling the news. With psky interest, of course. And the poor
people who are targeted are doubtlessly for the most part in the 39% or so who
will NOT RECEIVE THIS BONUS/REFUND! The news media have made it seem that the
ckeck is in the mail, but it won't go to low income/low tax-paying people. And
apparently none at all to anyone receiving low-income tax credits, even tho
they DO pay income taxes. The wealthy are not lining up at payday loan centers
for this chance to go into debt further.
I recently had my annual crash and melt-down. Everything is now
nicely restored save a difficulty with Agent newsgroups.
Formerly when I downloaded new messages my machine kept the old
messages to be consulted if a thread makes no sense -- now it erases
EVERYTHING but the current message -- even messages which I have
'locked' vanish. I have pored over the various screens of options and
have failed to unravel the mystery -- does anyone out there know what
I am talking about??
