Accounting Programs Online / Distance / Alternative
I would appreciate any information on fully accredited Universities which
offer Accounting Bachelors & Masters online. I am currently enrolled with
an online University and am looking for alternatives, particularly less
expensive than my current program. I heard from some Educators there are a
couple of Universities with strong, well regarded and nationally accepted
Accounting programs - and online. I have searched the WEB heavily but to no
avail. Thanks for your comments.
There are other DL grad programs in accounting. IMO, none of them can
be considered cheap, and a few of them are egregiously expensive. For
example, see the online Master's programs offered by Nova
Southeastern, University of Maryland University College, Golden Gate
University, and City University (Bellevue, WA). I've always been
impressed with Nova's eMacc program. If they would slash the tuition
in half, I'd enroll tomorrow afternoon.
Baker doesn't have any online undergrad accounting degrees. They do
offer an MBA with an accounting specialization. Essentially, this
looks like a general MBA program with three grad-level accounting
electives included for good measure.
