No Credit Check Auto Sales

Can anyone tell me of any dealers that can sell me a C5 with no credit check?

Money down is no problem, and I AM a homeowner.....my problem is that my

credit rating has suffered in the past 3 years due to a car accident

(couldn't work) as well as a divorce- NO bankruptcy though. I'd hate to have

to buy one outright- I would much rather finance/lease one if

possible......first choice is a black/black coupe, 6spd, Sport seats (97

would do); 2nd would be a fairway green (97); 3rd would be light pewter

metallic (98-99)- must have black sport seats and be a 6spd..... I've seen

dealers advertising no credit checks before (don't know where though)
Here is the scenario I've suggest people use before. It assumes you

do not own your house free & clear and are 100% current on payments.

If you do own your house free & clear simply take out a equity loan.

1. Get your down payment together. Make it as big as humanly

possible. At least 20% of total price + tax/tag/fees.

2. Go directly to several lending institutions (Banks/Savings &

Loans/Credit Unions) in your local area and explain to them your

problems BEFORE they pull a credit check. Some have rather liberal

policies and will charge you a higher rate for the risk. If your home

loan is through a Bank that is the best place to start.

3. Once you are pre-approved for the loan go shopping. Act like you

are paying cash. Draw up the paperwork then get the money from the

bank. Some will even give you a bank draft to go shopping with.

4. Be very very very leery of the used lots that advertise no credit

checks, they are designed for low lifes. They jack up the price of

the car & the interest rate. Miss one payment and the car is theirs

again. These guys self finance and you would not believe how many

times they sell the same car.

5. If these options aren't available to you I can put you in contact

with someone in the Norfolk Va. area who will be more then happy to

turn a profit on your bad luck. Has a commercial of a goat eating a

credit check
