fatty acids (revivogen compared to emu oil)?
How do these two compare as far as their fatty acid break down? Does emu have
GLA? would they be compareable result wise?
-I have the chemical breakdown of Emu Oil on my site

-Fatty acids have to be in their free form to inhibit 5alpha-reductase,
so applying natural oils like borage oil or evening primrose oil wouldn't
work. Natural oils are mixtures of mono-, di-, and triglycerides,
phospholipids, etc. These have no effect on 5alpha-reductase.
However, just for the sake of completeness, I'll mention that Mike
posted a patent recently that CLAIMED that skin contains enzymes
which can significantly break down natural oils into their fatty acid
components, making the use of such oils a legitimate treatment
for androgen-mediated skin conditions. However, I'll have to see
some serious independent corroboration for that before I'll believe it.
