I am planning to hold a seminar on the integration possibilities of Microsoft Crm
3.0 and SharePoint v2. As many of you know there are a lot of different ways
to do this.
However, on the microsoft Crm site I found the, for this subject very
interesting, CRM 3.0 ListWebPart.
I am using av VPC with W2K3, SQL 2k, VS2003, O2003, SPS2003 Swe, CRM 3.0
Prof. Swe, AD and Exchange.
The file downloaded is an MSI-file which insisted that my SPS 2k3 Swe was
not a SPS2003 or WSS. Strange...
So, I found a tool to open the MSI and unpacked the webpart and installed it
manually. And it executed and ran just as it should.... almost... because
when I tried to point it to my CRM server at http://localhost:5555 or
http://hd-demo:5555 it concluded this was not a proper CRM. (I even tried the
addresses without http:// and without port number).
Am I running the wrong language? Doesn't this ListWebPart support non-80 TCP
ports? Or have I missed something?
Any pointers or ideas are gratefully accepted!
I am not sure why you are having a problem here with the port based URL's. I
use this exact configuration in all of my demos. Since everything is on the
same machine you should need to deal with any of the trust for delegation
issues which are normally the cause for this error message.
Are you having to type your credentials when working with CRM in the web
application or when trying to render reports from with-in CRM?
