From San Diego need help about Microsoft Crm

I never used MS CRM before and now I have to go in San Diego to make
my first project for this. I have the following questions:

1.) Which DB is used (SQL-Server)?
2.) How can I get access to the contact-informations?
3.) How can I extend the Windows CRM client?

Thanks a lot
1. Yes, MS CRM is built on MS SQL Server. You can deploy it against SQL
Server 2000 or SQL Server 2005.

2. Not sure what you mean here. When CRM is installed and configured, the
web-client and/or the Outlook client expose the Contact entity as part of
their interface.

3. You can download the CRM 3.0 SDK, which contains a wealth of information
regarding customization and extensibility, including API-style documentation
of CRM's Web Services, business logic extension API vis a vis callouts, and
the available client-side scripting hooks. A search for "CRM 3.0 SDK" should
take you right to it. You might also try the book Working With Microsoft
Dynamics CRM 3.0.
