MBA Program Rankings & AACSB Acredited Online?
Is anyone aware of any published rankings of a DL MBA programs possibly
based on rankings of the academic and recruiter communities, and quality,
cost, etc? I'm only aware of Forbes top 20 cyber schools, which is by
institution not by program(Phi Beta Cyber, 6/16/97, www.forbes.com. )
Also I have only found a couple of AACSB accredited online programs -
Colorado State University and University of Colorado. Are there any
others?
The only source I know that rates (not ranks) MBAs worldwide is The
Economist. Each year, their Intelligence Unit publishes a book called
"Which MBA: a critical guide to the world's best programmes." The
current edition lists many AACSB schools and quite a few distance
learning programs, but none that are both.
University of Wisconsin (www.uww.edu) has AACSB accreditation as does Auburn
(www.auburn.edu). Baker College (www.baker.edu) says they have applied for
AACSB. If you can read MS Word 97 I can send you a comparison of 13 different
colleges offering MBA or MS Management degrees.
