wedding ring engraving ideas ?
time to get the wedding ring engraved. I'm thinking our names and wedding
date. Wondering what other people have had theirs engraved with.
Also, anyone know that url for that website with the funny sayings people
put in their wedding rings?
I didn't have my husband's wedding ring engraved - but the promise ring I
gave him I had ip for i promise engraved on the inside... on the
face of the ring, i had our acronym (jalf = (j)... (a)nd (l)aney (f).... )
none of my rings we ever got engraved...
had I had more space I probably would have put some of our other acronyms
and other sweet things like ilyh (i love you heaps) and lol (lots
of love), hoh (heaps of hugs), ilymed (i love you more each day),
lolahakamlfae (lots of love and hugs and kisses and more love forever and
ever), ... and our list of acronyms was long..
(if you're so inclined) a bible verse reference used in your wedding
ceremony could be another idea... I Cor 13:4-13 (love is patient, love is
kind..........) Or phrases from the marriage ceremony or your vows ... "I
take this woman" ... "I take this man" ... "I Do" ... etc etc
I were first considering becoming engaged, I gave him a
silver band of the approx. size and weight that his wedding band would
be. He wore it on the appropriate finger as a 'place minder' and to
get himself accustomed to having a ring there. He fiddled with it and
took it off and on for the first months, but he's gotten used to it
now.
I am so impressed. My husband and I have been married
18 years. He still plays with his ring. (Ok, and I occasionally
play with mine too.)
