All you need is a restaurant reservation.
Men who want to impress a woman will do best to wine and dine her. Who says
so? Not advice columnists. Not psychologists. Not marriage counselors. Not
even women. Mathematicians say so.
anyone (man or woman) who says they don't like someone spending
a little money on them is nuts. It makes you feel special. That person
somehow worked for that money, and then chose to use it on you. It's a
gift, and while the quantity can be large or small, the fact that it is
given freely makes it special.
Fourth, I think the fast-food comment disregarded something --
atmosphere. Fast-food joints are trashy, smelly, and serve disgusting
food. They're like eating off the floor in the bathroom. Yet find a
reasonable restaurant, one with some atmosphere -- a diner or an art
bar, a pub or a Tex-Mex place, a live band -- and now you have a date,
even if you're not dropping Bens on the table afterwards. It's
atmosphere you're buying, not wine. They missed that.
But otherwise I agree with them. Dinner is the best date, hands-down.
Seems funny to me, tho, that they needed a formula to figure it out.
Must not have had too many dates in college...
