Teaching kids about their own disabilities

Approximately a month or so ago I came across what looked like something
that had the potential to be a great resource on helping students with
learning disabilities learn what it means to have LD and how to develop
their self awareness of their needs.

I thought I bookmarked it but apparently not. I cannot find it anywhere
and I'm hoping someone can help me find it (I've tried askjeeves,
metacrawler, ldonline, etc.)

It was a book that had samples available on the web that was done in a
cartoon/comic strip type style/drawings explaining about Learning
Disabilities and how people with LD are not stupid, they just learn a
different way, and I believe it also talked about how to let your
teachers/employers know what you needed to be most successful.
Unfortunately, I can't remember what it was called. =(

I welcome any and all suggestions that might get me where I am trying to
get.

I've seen a teaching resource like that which comes with a student workbook
called "Why are You Calling me LD" from PCI Publications, but I don't have
any idea if it is what you are looking for or not.

Just keep in mind that sometimes parents do not want you to teach the kids
about their disabilities, and may become upset or offended if you suggest
their child has a disability.
