Do you have any suggestions for Learning Gaelic online ?

I have been wanting to learn Gaelic for a long time, but kept putting it off as I had no audio tutors
to listen too. I recently started using the internet as a tool to learn
though, and have found those same sites that you mentioned, which contain the
audio clips. I would be very interested in any Gaelic tutorials you may find
or develop, that would contain audio examples also. I am very eager to learn,
but am getting discouraged by the lack of resources that seem to be
available... Do you have any suggestions ?

"Speaking Our Language" does lack the structured grammar required to
thoroughly learn the language. But SOL along with a more grammar oriented
course is a good combination. You can _never_ have too many resources.

My personal preference for a grammar course is "Cothrom Ionnsachaidh" by
Ronald Black, Senior Lecturer of Celtic Studies at the University of Edinburgh
(ISBN 0906981336). This book can be purchased through Comhairle nan
Leabhraichean (Gaelic Books Council). When purchasing, be sure to insist on
the 1997 edition as it is the first edition (I believe) where the answers to
the exercises are included in the book.
