Acne scars - need advice
My beautiful 20 year old niece is cursed with a seriously scarred face
thanks to a horrific fight with acne during her teens. Her dermatologist
prescibed Accutane to get rid of the acne, now she'd like to lessen the look
of the pock marks.
I know some of you out there had to have fought and won this battle
successfully. She is willing to try anything. She was going to a salon for
gycolic treatments for awhile - she said it was helping. However, the salon
raised their prices and it is out of range for this lovely, but poor,
college student.
I told her I was having great success with Perricone, Revive, Awake, LaMer
and some others, and told her I'd send her my Awake C sample (wave to
Eunice). Unfortunately, my crow's feet do not begin to match the problem
she is facing with oily, scarred skin.
Please help. I have access to anything and I am willing to help her out
with the cost if necessary.
-In a word, laser. Expensive but does the trick.
- I take that back. A friend who had laser for acne had to have a touch
up with dermabrasion. Works far better for deep acne scars than laser, and may
be less expensive too
