Where can buy Jevelry and Watch ?

Last night I went into a jewelry store and I saw this BEAUTIFUL men's
watch with the date and a chronograph. I don't remember the model, but
it doesn't much matter. The watch was in this weird display thingy
which *rotated* the watch (as in winding a self-winding watch, I would
suppose?).
A Dakota Watch Co kiosk at a local mall kept my luminox quartz watch for
several months in a very silly effort to get the battery changed. One
might think if there is anything these people can do, it's change a
friggin' battery. (The kiosk people didn't keep it - they sent it on
to their "watchmaker" for service. It needed a battery and a pressure
test.) As I said, several months after my first visit - which I thought
would take roughly ten minutes - resulted in me receiving a watch that ran
fine but which was scratched and scarred up so badly I no longer wear the
thing. It's fugly! Apparently, their "watchmaker" covers his work
table with heavy-grit sandpaper....

Mall jewelry stores (around me, anyway) carry precious few mechanical
watches (just Tags), so when I ask to see their selection in mech/autos, I
get a blank stare. "You mean like the Seiko Kinetic?" *shrug* G'bye.

Ignorance is curable. Stupidity lasts a lifetime. For those who show an
interest in learning something, I am more than happy to enlighten to the
best of my limited ability.
