Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey Announce Separation To Us Weekly ?
I'm not keeping up with this and I haven't paid too much attention
to all the talk previous to this, but I'm seeing it on the Drudge
Report with headlines of 'Holiday Breakup.' If it is true, then
that's really too bad. The Holiday part at least - it seems like
they really try to escape all of the drama during the holidays. I've
had the impression that this time of year was when they sorta worked on
being a regular family... so, that's got to make for a sad holiday
season.
Then again, Joss Stone just broke up with her boyfriend and she's out
clubbing.. so, it may not be all that sad for Nick and Jessica either.
I'm sure Jessica paparazzi shots will be surfacing soon to show who
her new man/fling is. I'll try not to pay too much attention to that
either. Best of luck to them both... better than them being depressed
I guess.
This should not any big surprise....Jessica has conveniently "forgotten" to
wear her wedding ring a lot lately.
Very smart to make the announcement now so perhaps someone else can steal
their thunder by Monday.
Yes, what is with that? If they really wanted to fool people, why not keep
the ring on?
I don't really get that argument though. I've been married for thirteen
years (happily) and I go out without my ring on all the time. Rings bother
me and I generally only wear mine when I'm going "out" somewhere. That's
not to say she didn't do it on purpose - I'm just always amazed that they
take photos of celebs without their rings on - if I was famous the rumours
would have been circulating about me the whole 13 years : )
yeah, that's the problem with mine - the setting is too high. I need to get
a nice plain band I think. When I got the ring I was young and wanted
something "sparkly", but it's actually not practical for day to day.
