japanese skin care products
is there a way to buy these htings without going to asia? i mean is
there some mail order vehicle or importer who carries the stuff
sheiseido does not sell in US stores?
-I read, somewhere, that there is a store in NYC that carries those items.
Can't remember which one, but it was in a recent issue of Vogue, I think.
-You can go to the Shiseido stores in Asian towns, like Chinatown,
Japantown, Koreatowm, etc. Hope there's one in your city. I know that
these Shiseido stores sell the products Shiseido sells in Asia, which you
can't find in U.S. department stores' counters.
-The store is Lisa Beauty Supply in NYC's Chinatown. 212-343-1698. It's a
Shiseido Chain Store. The only
Shiseido Domestic (ie. Japan only) stuff I saw was the Shiseido Elixir
skincare line. Everything else was Shiseido International lines available
at all US Shiseido counters.
That said, a friend of mine who grew up in Japan swears the Elixir
Softening Lotion and Day and Night Cream are way way better than the other
Shiseido lines, so I guess they'd be worth a try.
Shiseido Chain Stores can be found in other Asian neighborhoods, too. I
just happened upon Lisa Beauty Supply when I was wandering around one day.
Oh, and the potions are kinda pricy--around $40 or so.
