Wedding rings: where should I buy?

I'm getting married in October and my fiance and I need to
purchase our wedding rings. I had purchased the engagement ring at
Blue Nile because I was told you can always get more for your money
when you don't buy retail. My fiance loves the ring I got at Blue
Nile as well. So we were going to purchase two simple 18K White Gold
wedding bands there too (I think they were about $175-$200 each). The
only thing is that we were in the mall the other day and saw some
pretty inexpensive bands at Crescent jewelers and JC Penny. The one
at JC Penny was $79 for 18K white gold. So it would seem that the one
at the retail store was a better deal. Is there something I am
missing? Is this ring "cheaper" in more ways than the price. Please
forgive me, as I know little about jewelry. I don't mind spending
more money for a better ring. However, it doesn't make much sense to
me to pay more for the same thing. If anyone can give some advice, it
would be much appreciated.
The inexpensive ones could possibly be lighter weight. You might want to
compare grams each ring has. I think you get what you pay for in some cases
tho.... if you could compare these pieces side by side, you might see some
differences. Or you might not. (Over 10 years ago we paid $250 for a Tiffany
3 or 4mm band in 18K yellow. It's called the Lucida now, at the same price!
This ring has a substantial heft that I've not felt in any other ring
since.)
