CRM software from Siebel, IBM, PeopleSoft-too expensive for just an e-mail marketing solution.
I have a database of online customers and I need to send them a
monthly newsletter and sometimes other special information. I want to
send only to customers who have chosen to receive the newsletter which
is asked during online (and offline) registration. All of these
information are stored in SQL Server (but maybe Oracle later on).
I found some CRM software from Siebel, IBM, PeopleSoft, but they are
entire CRM solutions (which I don't currently need) and way too
expensive for just an e-mail marketing solution. Any advices for me
in this case ?Thank for reply
Sounds like you just need a small custom application. Since your
requirements are fairly simple, you should be able to get it done
inexpensively. Try posting your requirements and ask for quotes. (If you
export the data from your SQL Server/Oracle tables to a file, the custom
application will be much cheaper since no DB access knowlege would be
required).
For example, if you go to newsgroups.borland.com and post in
borland.public.delphi.jobs, I'm sure you will get someone who could do it
for you.
