Where should I go to for a home Equity Loan? Bank? Credit Union?
Mortgage Broker? One of the big ones like Ameriquest, First Mortgage,
etc. I have no Idea where to start...

the bonus of more predictable customer service. One here in Seattle is waiving
all closing costs up to Aug 18. Rate is T-Bill +3%.
Use that as a baseline, and see what you can find.
