Is acid reflux/heartburn an early sign of pregnancy?
Has anyone had acid reflux/heartburn in early pregnancy? I had it when I was first pregnant (never had it before), miscarried, and now I am having it again and think I might be pregnant again. I took one test-negative, but I think I might be too early too test.
Can anyone in the group help me please?
im not sure.. since it was a symptom for you before. than maybe you are.. but you can get heart burn for any number of reasons.. think about when u did the deed.. was it around ur ovulation time period. type in ovulation calendar in a search engine if ur not sure.. ull find a website that will give you that info when you type in the date of ur last period.
that's a new one on me. I always got heartburn the last trimester - craved ice cubes or chips. I used to eat half a dozen lemons at a sitting, and drink buckets of coffee the first trimester - kept the morning sickness down to a dull roar. But if you've miscarried, you'd better see your doctor early, like now.
Alot of women have heartburn as an early pregnancy symptom. I didn't though...I'm almost in my 2nd trimester and the heartburn is just now starting to flare up.
I think you should wait a few days or possibly even a week and retest. If that test is negative as well and you still believe you might be pregnant, you should call your doctor and go in for a blood test.
