will the other credit reporting companies get that same deletion or do I have to dispute it with all 3 individually?
I disputed a collection on my credit report because I believe I paid
the place off. I just got a notice from Experian that they deleted the
collection off my report (yahoo!) Now my question is, will the other
credit reporting companies get that same deletion or do I have to
dispute it with all 3 individually
that the law entitles you to one free credit
report from _each_ agency per year. Phone 1-877-322-8228 or go to
http:/www.annualcreditreport.com . (I have seen a report from someone
who tried both that it's easier by phone.)
If you find a mistake on your credit report and successfully dispute
it, you're entitled to an additional free report, which doesn't count
as your free annual report.
