Free Credit Check Online
Are there any credit cards which will be able to check my spending
online, for the current month. Not just past statements, but current
ones, so i can keep track of how much I have spent in the current
billing month. One that also sends out printed statements preferably
as standard and no extra cost. Am not bothered about rates, transfers
etc as I always pay it off in full each month.
Barclaycard also permit you to pay online by debit card. Unfortunately,
they do not allow you to set up a DD to pay off the minimum or total charge
automagically. Cahoot, which has a much lower interest rate, does allow you
to set up such a DD, which relieves you of the responsibility of remembering
to do it - though you must have sufficient funds in your current account, of
course. At least with Barclaycard, any transaction is often visible on the
web by the time you get home from the shops? Cahoot do not send hard copy
statements unless requested and there is a charge.
Cahoot (current account) pay 3.y% on credit balances and also allow you an
interest free overdraft of £250, in addition to a penalty free overdraft
decided by whom I do not recall. I've often wondered what would happen to
one's credit rating if one made continuous use of the interest free £250,
keeping the money in their savings account at 3.8%.
