Foods should avoid

My girlfriend thinks she has acid reflux. She went on vacation last week and she said her symptoms were better. But yesterday she had Chinese food for lunch (which she has probably 3 out of the 5 days in a work week.) Is the Chinese food triggering acid reflux? What foods should she avoid to keep it from triggering? What foods are good for her to eat?

Just as everyone else has said, she needs to see a doctor but that really wasn't your question.... hehe.

And she can find an over counter medication.

But she should advoid anything that has acid in it.... like.... pineapple, Orange juice, mandran oranges, gratefruit, etc. I am sure the chinese hasn't been helping, they usually put a lot of acid in it not to mention soy sauce.

If she wants to go all natural and not use "medication" then she can drink milk, its a natural way to get rid of stomach acid. Or if that isn't cutting it, she can go to her local health food store and they will totally give her stuff to help her a long.

I wouldn't suggest avoiding acid foods forever, she can certainly eat them every once and awhile, just not more then two times a week, and that stretching it.
Anything sweet because sweet things turn to acid in the stomach to break down the compound tell your gf to cut down on artificial sweet foods or high sugar Contense foods.
