Electronic Customer Relationship Management device
I am trying to change my rip from a mac to a pc running win XP. My question
is this. I have everything installed and running except that I cannot get my
pc to communicate correctly with my Mako imagesetter. The pc sees the scsi
and the imagesetter on the other end of the scsi card but if I look in my
hardware device manager of the windows xp control panel, I see that I have a
device with yellow question marks beside it. I suspect that I need a driver
to tell the pc how to handle this device.
the device with the yellow ? is:
Electronic Customer Relationship Management Scsi Pelbbox SCsi Sequential Device
Is there a driver I can assign to this to get the yellow question marks to
disappear.
also, when the nt rip launches, I get the message:
failure opening the scsipel driver
imagesetter not found on scsi bus
CAN ANYONE HELP ME HERE?
Yes, that's what that question mark means. If you have an install disk,
here is the procedure:
1. Open Device Manager and uninstall the driver currently being used, if
any.
2. Reboot the computer
3. When Windows recognizes the new hardware, you will have the option of
"Have disk" on the menu for installing a new hardware device. Point to the
drive where the install disk is stored.
If you do not have an install disk, you will have to download the device
driver from the manufacturer, or obtain it from them (Or somebody!) by some
means.
