Would you and DH be willing to assume the driving?
I don't know if they can or can't,but would you and DH be willing
to assume the driving? If the driving is the problem, rather than
trying to hold out for an arbitrary standard of "fair" (which NJ
residents get over REALLY quick) that might be the fastest way to
settle it.
We already are doing ALL of the driving - the school SD is at now is totally
convenient to BM and totally inconvenient to us.Since the change between
preschool and kindergarten is a logical time to change schools,if we are going
to, this would be the time to be hashing this out.The schools in Orange
County are WAY better anyway,but I don't think the court considers things like
that.(Somewhere in the middle falls in Orange County.)
We have talked about moving to a place in the middle ourselves, but that
doesn't really solve the problem either.The distance between work and school
is still the same.
All of this driving is really getting old,to say the least.We are looking
for a solution that all can find at least acceptable,which probably doesn't
exist.
