Debt Recovery problems. Who can help me ??
I have today received in the mail a 'Court Fine Enforcement Order' from the
State Debt Recovery Office.
The fine is for allegedly using an expired railway ticket at Wynyard station
and a fee of $50.00 has been added.
Now for the part that boggles me. The date of the offence is 19 Feb 1993 ?
Apparently I committed this offence and have to date not paid the fine. How
am I supposed to prove this ? I have never heard of this before, and if I
had it would not have gone for so long. I have not moved addresses, moved
interstate etc.
Any thoughts ? Comments ?

picked your name and address at random eh ?
How did they get your name and address if you didnt do the crime ?
Easy to claim.
Pay, they'll have your guts for garters if you dont.
