Debt Recovery Claim ?
I have issued a claim for a debt using www.moneyclaim.gov.uk.
The defendant is well versed in debt avoidance and this newsgroup has been
very helpfull with information in getting me this far trying to recover this
money.
The defendant will have received notification from the court on the 5 Dec,
today 7 Dec, £100 has mysteriously appeared in my bank account.
Without contacting the bank to verify the origin of this money I can only
assume it is from the defendant. It is approx 10% of the amount I am
claiming.
While I have no objection to the debt being paid gradually, does he not have
to reply to the court with an offer?
It has cost me £80 to raise the claim, I fear that he may be attempting to
disrupt or frustrate my chances of recovering the whole amount.
Should I let the claim run its course or do I need to notify the court he
has paid towards the total debt? (assuming I get confirmation from the bank)
