What can I do about debt negotiation firm these years?

Four years ago I entered into a financial hole I tried to get out of

with a debt negotiation firm. NONE of my creditors agreed to work

with them or me except one leaving me no other choice but to file

bankruptcy. I went with my lawyer to the trustee and no creditors

showed up. The trustee told us "that was it and the papers would be

filed". I never heard from anyone and when I finally called my lawyer

then, he told me it was discharged. Several letters from my auto

financing confirmed that as well. One of the old creditors has now

resurfaced and it was obviously one that had the opportunity to work

with the debit negotiation company OR come to the trustee office. I

had a falling out with my lawyer over the handling of my matter and I

will no longer contact him. What can I do about this old creditor

popping up now after all these years?
-Never got one, how do I get this? I know that it had to have happend

because a few people sent letters to me that their case against me was

now dropped. My (former) lawyer did such a bad job but I guess in the

end I had done needed to be done.
