MCI customer service that bad?
MCI customer service that bad?
I think the answer is yes, it is that bad
I tried to call MCI customer service today to ask a question about
their plans. I called the number for new customers, and waited on hold
for over an hour (thank goodness for speaker phones) before I gave up
and hung up. Is their service normally this bad, or was there just
something wrong when I called? I hate to think how they treat existing
customers if a potential new customer was forced to wait this long for
assistance!
BTW here is the question I was trying to get answered. If I sign up
for a plan with 200 anytime minutes and 1000 weekend minutes, do the
weekend minutes get accounted for separately, so if I were to use my
first 200 minutes of the month on the weekend, they would not count as
my 200 anytime minutes? I have had two dealers tell me that they do
account for the minutes in separate pools, so it does work properly. I
remember when I had an analog phone with AT&T many years ago and had
free weekends and discovered that the first 30 minutes I used each
month counted as my included minutes, no matter when I used them,
which of course made the free weekends offer rather useless if I
wanted to be sure I didn't go over my 30 minutes!
MCI bad. MCI has always bad, and they will continue
forever. All they care about is making money for their shareholders. Granted,
all companies must make money for their owners. But many others can do so
and still provide good customer service. My experience with MCI Long Distance
is that they can't.
