Custom Titanium Ring?
I was wondering if anyone on this ng has purchased a titanium wedding
band. I've looked at several online and I think they are really pretty,
plus I love the implied sentimentality (durable, resistant, long lasting
- like a marriage SHOULD be!). I am seriously considering a titanium
band with a platinum or gold inlay for my FH. I'm just wondering if
anyone has an opinion of the stuff, as I have NEVER seen one in person.
Also, if you DID purchase a titanium ring, would you mind sharing WHERE
you bought it and what you think of the vendor (online or otherwise)?

Although I do not know of anyone who has a titanium wedding ring. I can tell
you that Titanium rings are very popular in Europe. Look very modern in
style. AFAIK usually they are sold in shops that sell modern style jewelry.
If you like the way they look then go for it. Just think if the style may be
come outdate... and maybe go for one of the more classic styles. You will
have it for a long long time and wear it everyday.
I was also considering one for my FH as he is generally not very
traditional... but surprisingly he said no. He wanted a more traditional
look.... You learn something new about people every day!!! : )
We looked extensively at Titanium rings (there are a lot at
www.titaniumrings.com) and then found a jeweller in our City (in Australia)
that sold then and looked at them closely. We decided *against* them - it
just wasn't the look we were going for and the titanium didn't look right
with our Engagement rings (he has one too). But they are definitely
popular and are for some people!
I suggest to find a jeweller close to you that sells them, go to
www.google.com and type in "titanium rings" and your City and State and it
should come up with a couple. This was how we found ours.
