Cure Of Heartburn
It seems to come from years of living in Mexico, consuming huge doses of alcohol and off course loads of Mexican food.I related it with some kind of heart problem so i was given diferent tranquilizers and beta blocker and stuff.However i was never told what the problem was wich made me constantly nervous.I even did some tests to assure that i did not have a heart issue.I guess taking all those freaking pill only made it worse.
What could be done to cure acid reflux that provoces heartburn?
The prescription drugs work. Though, keep in mind that as with all medications, you are only treating the symptom, not the cause.
I will use my Mothers case as an exampe, though I know of many. She was taking two predominant prescription drugs for acid reflux and heartburn. Doing some holistic research we found that most cases of AR are caused by an inbalance of bacteria in the digestive system - caused by many envirnomnental situations; drinking, poor nutrition - and in my Mothers case, antibiotics over the course of her life.
The solution we found was acidophilus. She began taking 4 capsules 3 times a day (while maintianing her prescription medications). After about a month she stopped taking the prescription medications and continued with the acidophilus only.
17 years later she has never once needed a prescripton medicataion for AR or heartburn. She has reduced her acidophilus intake to two capsules a day, once in the am and once in the pm.
