Crm Software Workflow Manager You do not have sufficient CRM privleges..
I am new to the MS CRM software and have not been a MS Sys admin for
quite sometime. ( I am a developer ) I think I finally have the
product installed correctly and the web interface seems to work fine.
However, everytime I attempt to run the workflow manager tool, I get a
message saying that I do not have sufficient CRM privleges to run the
tool. What privlege/roles are required to run the tool? I did find the
article about the mapping of crmisapi.dll in IIS and about testing the
soap functionality. I did this and I even followed the complete thread
and took the last suggestion of moving the dll to the root of the c:
drive and registering and mapping to it there. This changed nothing. I
do have one kind of odd ball behavior in my server setup. It seems
that the CRM Security service keeps failing to load after a re-boot.
It starts fine when I manually start it up. I am running Exchange,
SQL, IIS and CRM all on the same box. Is the CRM security service
dependant on one of the other packages? If so, is there a command line
to activate this dependancy?
I believe that you need to give the admin user a license
via the deployment manager or user manager within CRM then
it should work.
I am not positive, but your user might need to have a
professional suite license to run workflow. Not sure tho.
if you got the CRM software of MSDN this is a standard release and workflow
manager will not work in that you need to have a sales professional version.
