goldmine crm software on openserver
we are currently running goldmine crm software on an nt server. for
reliability reasons, i would like to move it over to our sco 5.0.5 system.
goldmine has published instructions (no support) on installing it on a linux
server and using samba for file sharing, but i was wondering if anyone has
installed it on an sco system using visionfs instead of samba and if so, how
is it working out.
Given the current situation of Visionfs and SCO (that is, it is no longer
free), I'd go with Samba.
It's not longer distributed with OpenUnix8 (that's for sure);
as far as I can see, SCO OS 5.0.6 (PN CB200) does come with
the Vision2K CD-ROM; I know that there's a new 5.0.6 package
available (CC200 I think) but unfortunately I was unable to
get hold of it so I'd prefer not commit myself on this point.
